Fitted Wardrobe Respray – Farrow & Ball Mizzle

Our client in Davenham, Cheshire, wanted to refresh their fitted bedroom furniture while keeping its practical layout and traditional detailing. A professional respray transformed the existing wood finish, giving the wardrobes, overhead cupboards, and matching drawer units a fresh, coordinated look.

The chosen colour was Mizzle by Farrow & Ball — a soft grey-green that brings a calm, understated feel to the bedroom. The new finish complements the mirrored wardrobe door and curved silver handles, while highlighting the cabinetry’s decorative panels and cornice detailing.

We carried out a professional fitted wardrobe and bedroom furniture respray in Davenham, carefully preparing and spraying the existing cabinetry to create a consistent finish throughout the room.

Our Process:

• Preparation of the existing cabinetry for spraying

• Removal of doors and drawer fronts to allow access to the frames

• Careful masking of wardrobe interiors, mirrors, lighting, walls, and ceilings

• Protection of floors and surrounding furniture

• Professional spray application in Mizzle by Farrow & Ball

• Reassembly of doors, drawers, and handles

• Final checks and removal of protective coverings

Result:

The change from wood to Mizzle has given this fitted bedroom furniture a softer, more contemporary appearance while preserving its original character. Matching the wardrobes, overhead storage, and drawer units creates a cohesive look across the room. This Davenham wardrobe respray shows how existing fitted furniture can be beautifully refreshed without replacing the entire installation.
