This front door in Kingsmead, Cheshire, had a worn brown finish that was leaving the entrance looking tired. Our client wanted to refresh its appearance while retaining the door’s decorative glazing, textured surface, and traditional panel detailing.
The door was resprayed in classic black, with the surrounding frame finished in white for a crisp contrast. The new colour combination complements the warm brickwork and silver door furniture, giving the entrance a smart, welcoming appearance.
We carried out a professional front door respray in Kingsmead, removing the door for preparation and spraying while carefully protecting its glazed panels. The frame was prepared and sprayed separately to complete the transformation.
Our Process:
Removal of the door and door furniture for preparation and spraying
Thorough surface preparation of the door and frame
Careful masking of decorative glass and protection of surrounding brickwork
Professional spray application of the black door finish
Spray finishing of the surrounding frame in white
Refitting of the door, handle, and letterbox
Final checks and clean-down
Result:
The change from worn brown to black has given this Kingsmead entrance a fresh, refined look. The white frame defines the doorway, while the black finish highlights the decorative glass and panelled design. The result is a beautifully refreshed front door that enhances the property’s kerb appeal without replacing the existing installation.
