This kitchen respray in Davenham, Cheshire, transformed the existing cream cabinetry with Farrow & Ball Blue Gray. The new colour brings a muted grey-green tone to the shaker doors, refreshing the kitchen while retaining its familiar layout.
The painted finish complements the terracotta floor tiles, pale worktops and natural timber shelving. Across the tall cupboards, glazed wall units, base cabinets and peninsula, the coordinated colour gives the kitchen a more cohesive appearance.
The transformation also extends into the utility room, where matching cabinetry sits alongside the existing wooden worktop. Refine Finishes Co. refreshed both spaces through professional cabinet respraying, preserving the existing units and their shaker detailing.
Our Process:
Cleaned and prepared the cabinetry for painting.
Protected surrounding surfaces, appliances and glazed panels.
Prepared doors, drawer fronts and exposed cabinet surfaces.
Spray applied the chosen Blue Gray finish.
Carried the matching colour through the utility room cabinetry.
Refitted handles and completed final finish checks.
Result:
A refreshed kitchen and utility room with a consistent Blue Gray finish. The soft colour works beautifully with the warm flooring and timber details, giving the existing cabinetry a new look without replacing the kitchen.
